When you read Quran,b you will see that Allah Loves persons with good qualities like:

1. Allah Loves those who do good.  (2:195)

2. Allah Loves those who repent and purify themselves from sins. (2: 222).

3. Allah Loves the Pious. (3: 76).

4. Allah Loves the good doers. (3:148).

5. Allah Loves those who put their trust in Him. (3:159).

6. Allah Loves the good doers. (5:13).

7. Allah Loves those who are justly. (5:42).

8. Allah Loves those who fight in His cause together like a solid structure. (61: 4).

Many other verses in Quran give similar meaning of the reason of the love of Allah.

We can gain love of Allah through obtaining these noble deeds which has degrees depending on the degrees of the noble deeds.

Thinking about the countless bounties of Allah on us increases our love to Allah, and that will make us more grateful and obedient servants, which leads us more near to the love of Allah.

Loving and obeying the most beloved servants of Allah, Muhammad and his Holy Progeny (SAWA) makes us more near to the love of Allah (SWT).

Repeating Estighfaar and Salawaat is always useful in purifying our hearts and deeds and enlightening our hearts.

We must submit to the Will of Allah and seek Him Mercy and never suggest on Him our own timings which might be harmful for us. We leave our needs and wishes to Allah (SWT) and request and supplicate to Him to Grant US’s the best which He Knows. No doubt, sincere worship and dedication have an effect on our supplication.

Intercession is by the most humble servants of Allah like the prophets and their deputies and very pious believers. They can intercede to help believers who need intercession after permission from Allah (SWT).

Allah Says in Sura Al-Anbiyaa', verse 30: They can not intercede except for whom Allah accepts ( to be granted intercession).

There is no discrimination whatsoever in Islam neither in this life nor in the hereafter. Every believer will get the reward of there good deeds equally. Obviously same good deed has different degrees of sincerity which will be reflected in the reward of it. There is no discrimination at all because of ethnic or family matters. Allah Sats in Quran ( Every one will be getting his own deeds). Sura 52, verse 21.

The twelve Infallible Imams are the successors of The Best human being, Muhammad (SAWA) who is the Most humble servant of Allah (SWT). Allah Grants special powers to His Most humble servants as we read in the Hadeeth Qodsi ( O My servant, obey Me, I will make you like me, you say to something: Be, it will be.عبدي أطعني تكن مثلي، تقول للشيء كن فيكون.

This gift has been given to prophets like Easa who was able to bring dead back to life, as well as deputies of the prophets like Aasif ibn Barkhis ( deputy of Sulaiman) who brought the throne of Bilqees from Yemen to Palestine in less than an eye blink.
The status of the Infallible Imams comes from the status of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) as we read in Quran: A Progeny, wvery part if it is from the other part ذُرِّيَّةً بعضُها من بعض

The Prophet Muhammed (SAWA) has the greatest gifts from Allah,v then his Progeny Ahlul Bayt (AS) who are part from him . There is no question of any act from any of gifted servants of Allah, away from Allah (SWT). Every act from them is by permission from Allah because they are constantly and continuously  with Allah (SWT). The Hadeeth states: Verily, Allah Has made the hearts of the Imams, a place of His Will, so, whatever He wants, they will want. إنَّ اللهَ جعل قلوبَ الأئمة موضعا لمشيئته فإذا شاء شيئا شاءوه

Everything they want is exactly what Allah Wants.

Anything that occurs depends on the permission of Allah.

As for whether the Imams can exert control over the natural world, through the permission of Allah, within Shi'ism, there are varying views. Some scholars hold that they have the capability to affect the natural world in any way. Others say they have this ability in special cases where a supranatural act (karamat) is called for. Still others reject this idea as heterodox (ghuluww).

I personally hold the first view.
