The Zuhr prayer (Arabic: صَلَاة ٱلظُّهْر‎, Ṣalāt aẓ-Ẓuhr; IPA: [sˤa.laːt aðˤ.ðˤuhr], "noon prayer"), also transliterated Dhuhr, Duhr or Thuhr, is the second of the five daily obligatory prayers (salah) for practicing Muslims. It contains four units (rakaʿāt) and begins after the Sun reaches its zenith.On Friday, the Zuhr prayer is replaced or preceded by Friday prayer, which is obligatory for Muslim men who are above the age of puberty and meet certain requirements to pray in congregation either in a mosque or with a group of Muslims.

Saying all the Takbir and other sayings in Zuhr and Asr aloud is permissible. Reciting the AlHamd and the other Sura should not be aloud in Zuhr and Asr. Reciting Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem aloud is recommended in Zuhr and Asr, while it is obligatory in Maghrib, Isha and Farr prayers.

While observing Kaffarah fasting for 60 days, if a person has plans that prevent them from fasting, such as traveling before Zuhr, are these valid excuses to skip certain days? Will this impact the completion of their Kaffarah?

If he traveled during the fasting of sixty days of Kaffara, he must fast the days of the traveling immediately after the travel and continue fasting the remains days of the sixty. If he traveled and did not compensate the days of the travel immediately and made a deliberate gap, he will then need to restart the Kaffara fast again.

Dhuhr . Asr . Time . Dhikr . Salah (Prayers)

If I miss my Dhuhr and it is Asr time, should I sit for Dhikr after making up Dhuhr and then pray Asr, or do I do Dhikr after praying Asr. Does this apply for every missed prayer? Should I always do Dhikr after praying the current Salah if I missed one?

We must perform every obligatory Prayer on its time and never delay it till its time goes away. If you did not pray your Dhuhr Prayer, you must perform it before performing your ASR Prayer. Dhikr is highly recommended after every obligatory Prayer. Tasbeeh of Fatima (SA) is highly recommended after every Prayer and it is more beloved to Allah (SWT) than one thousand recommended Rak'ats, according to Hadeeth from Imam Ja'far Al-Sadiq (AS). Reciting Ayatul Kursi is also highly recommended after prayers.

If you are doing qadha' for shahr Ramadhan fasting, you are allowed to terminate your fasting and break-off from it, anytime in the morning, until zawal, or salat dhuhr time.

You are not allowed to break your qadha' fasting anytime after dhuhr. If you do, there is a kaffarah.

This is different to Mustahab fast, where you can break your mustahab fast anytime, before dhuhr, or after dhuhr.

I prayed Friday prayers where there are more than one Friday prayers within one Farsakh because I did not know about the ruling that there has to be minimum distance. Do I need to perform Qada Zuhr for those Friday prayers?

If you performed Friday Prayer with the valid Friday Prayer that started their Takbiratul Ehraam before other Friday prayers in the radius of one Farrakhan, then your prayer is valid. If you started Takbiratul Ehraam after any other valid Friday Prayer then you need to perform Dhuhr or it's Qadha if it's time has gone.

If by avoiding delay, you mean praying any of the obligatory prayers (in this case Dhuhr) with our Sunni brothers at a time before the prescribed time as understood by Shi'a Imamiyyah fiqh. That will not be counted as fulfilling one's obligation, each prayer has its prescribed beginning and ending time.

The obligatory prayers require the fulfilment of certain demands, as stipulated within the risalah amaliyyah (books of ritual practice) if these demands are not adhered to whilst performing the obligatory prayers then for a follower of Jafari fiqh their prayer is invalid.

for example the recitation of the basmallah (in the name of Allah the all beneficent the all merciful) before the recitation of a surah (a complete one) during the prayer (except surah tawbah), as an obligation.

Or facing of the qiblah throughout the entirety of the prayer as an obligation (not turning the head from left to right whilst reciting the Salaam) which would invalidate the prayer for a follower of the Jafari school of fiqh.

Or the folding of the arms across the chest instead of holding them by the sides of the body. This would also invalidate the prayer if performed by a follower of Jafari fiqh.

Praying behind and praying with are two different things. There is common a mentioning of joining our Sunni brothers during the prayer, as a sign of unity.

However, one is required to observe the correct time and recite all that which is obligatory oneself, if joining the obligatory prayer led by our Sunni brothers.
