Drawing living beings fully is to be avoided according many of our leading scholars.

Photography is permissible.

Is drawing allowed in Islam? Is it restricted to only inanimate objects?

Drawing of trees, flowers, sea, rivers, mountains, etc is allowed. Drawing of full body of human beings or animals should be avoided according to most of our scholars. Drawing part of human body or animal is also allowed.
