Tradition 1: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) says: The killer of Yahya Ibn Zakariya ('a) was of illegitimate birth and the killer of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) was also of illegitimate birth. The sky has never wept on anyone but them.

Allah's Messenger (S) said: There is a position in Hell that no one deserves, except the killer of Husayn Ibn Ali ('a) and the killer of Yahya Ibn Zakariya ('a).

Tradition 3: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) says: By Allah, the descendants of the killers of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) will be killed for the deeds of their ancestors.

Tradition 7: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) was asked, 'Who stopped Fir’awn from killing Prophet Musa ('a) as mentioned in this verse:

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ

“Fir’awn said, ‘Let me kill Musa...’” (40:26).

Imam ('a) replied, “Because Fir’awn was of illegitimate birth and only those of illegitimate birth and children of fornicator women can kill prophets and Divine Proofs.”
