Chapter 74: Reward Of The Ziyarah Of Imam Al-Husayn ('A) On Any Day, Other Than Eid And Arafah Day

Tradition 1: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) said: Allah will record twenty accepted Hajj and umrahs and reward of fighting on the side of a divine messenger or a just Imam for any believer who goes to the Ziyarah of Imam Al-Husayn (‘a) with recognition of his rights on any other day than an Eid and Arafah Day.

Tradition 2: Same as Chapter 49, Tradition no. 5.

Tradition 3: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) said: Allah will forgive one who performs the Ziyarah of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) every Friday: He will not leave the world with any sorrows about it and will dwell with Imam Al-Husayn ('a) in Paradise.

Then he said: O Dawood! Who does not like to be the neighbour of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) in Paradise?

I replied, “One who has not achieved salvation.”

Tradition 4: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) was asked, “What is the reward for one who performs the Ziyarah of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) every month?”

Imam (‘a) replied, “He will earn the reward of a hundred thousand martyrs like the Badr martyrs.

Tradition 5: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) said: On the night of Qadr,

فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ

“Therein every wise affair is made distinct” (44:4).

an announcer will announce from inside the Arsh, “Indeed, Allah has forgiven everyone who came to the Ziyarah of the grave of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) on this night.”
