Chapter 50: How The Almighty Allah Honours The Visitors Of Imam Al-Husayn ('A)
Tradition 1: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) said: There is no one but that on Judgment Day he will wish to be among the visitors of Imam Al-Husayn ('a), because they will see the way in which the visitor of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) is honoured and treated by the Almighty Allah.
Tradition 2: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) said: One who desires to be served at tables of light on Judgment Day should perform the Ziyarah of Imam Al-Husayn ('a).
Tradition 3: Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) said: “By Allah, as if I can see angels crowding around believers at the grave of Imam Al-Husayn ('a).”
I (the narrator) asked, “Do the believers see them?”
Imam ('a) replied, “Never, by Allah, they are attached to the believers and touch their faces. Every morning and night, the Almighty Allah sends down food for the visitors of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) from Paradise and the angels are their servants.
If they request for any matter related to this life or the Hereafter, Allah grants it to them.”
Isaid, “By Allah, it is a great honour.”
Imam ('a) asked, “Should I tell you more?” I replied, “Yes, my chief.”
Imam ('a) said: As if I can see a throne of light, which has been laid. A dome of red ruby decorated with gems has been placed on it and ninety thousand green domes surround it. As if I can see Imam Al-Husayn ('a) sitting on his throne and believers going for his Ziyarah and saluting him.
The Almighty Allah will say, “My friends! Ask Me anything, because you were hurt, humiliated and oppressed since long. But today you will not ask Me for anything related from this life or Hereafter but that I will grant it.”
Imam ('a) added: Their foods and drinks are in Paradise, by Allah, this is the unending honour and its greatness cannot be gauged.
