Tradition 1: Imam Ar-Ridha’ ('a) said: “Ziyarah of Imam Al-Husayn ('a) is equivalent to an Umrah.”

Tradition 2: The narrator asked Imam As-Sadiq (‘a), “May I be sacrificed on you! Should I perform the Ziyarah of Imam Al-Husayn ('a)?”

Imam ('a) replied: ·Abu Saeed! Yes! Perform the Ziyarah of the son of Allah's Messenger, the most blessed of the blessed ones, the most purified of the purified ones and the most pious of the pious ones; for if you go to his Ziyarah, twenty-two Umrahs will be recorded for you.
