Tradition 2: I (the narrator) was sitting in the house of Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) and I saw a pigeon cooing for a long time.

Imam As-Sadiq (‘a) looked at me and asked, “Dawood, do you know what they are saying?”

I replied, “No, may I be sacrificed on you.”

Imam ('a) said, “It is cursing the killers of Husayn Ibn Ali ('a); therefore, keep pigeons in your houses.”
